Overview: Filmed on a micro-budget over the course of two years with a minimal script outline and improvised scenes involving real people, politicians and celebrities, Shamrocracy blurs the line between fiction and reality to create a biting commentary on Ireland today. Terry Ghusto is the returning émigré moving in with his brother-in-law, newly unemployed road-sweeper Bobby Channels, while attempting to make a name for himself in local politics.
