Overview: This 1938 film by Mario Camerini is the German version of a previously-made film by the same director. However, unlike the previous film, this one isn't quite as serious. A libertine gets married, but is free to carry out his adventures in this marriage of convenience. Eventually, however, he will discover that the marriage is more than something convenient and will lead, surprisingly, to something he never expected.
