Overview: Friedl Meier, owner of a country hotel, inherits a large sum of money in dollars – but the problem is that the inheritance certificate is issued in the name Meyer with a “y,” the surname of Friedl's former fiancé Ferdinand, who later made a career for himself in the USA.
