Overview: Wang Guang, adopted by a kind couple who gave her the chance to study, is inspired by a revolutionary speech to join the fight against Japan. After witnessing the brutal deaths of loved ones, she joins the Eighth Route Army, endures hardships, and grows into a determined fighter.
